We've got one day of exploring left in us between our cruises on the Carnival Valor and Carnival Glory, and we're rolling around the Metairie area with our friend Jonta. New Orleans Adventures (Sept 2019) - Part 1: Museum Day, Streetcar, Mother's, Riverwalk - ParoDeeJay

We're gearing up for a double cruise adventure out of New Orleans aboard the Carnival Valor and Carnival Glory, but first... we've got time to explore The Big Easy! In this episode, it's National Museum Day so we've got free tickets to the Audubon Butterfly Garden and Insectarium. After that, we're hopping on the streetcar to explore the St. Charles loop, then grabbing lunch at Mother's Restaurant before heading to the Riverwalk for our first taste of Café Du Monde... huzzah!! :D

This episode does contain lots of insects!! If that "bugs" you, once you get to about the 3:20 mark or so, you can skip to 8:45 if you'd like to see just the butterflies, OR 11:08 if you don't want to see any critters at all (though you might miss some choice bug jokes...)
