Carnival Pride Storm Video Footage - November 17, 2019 - Delayed Journeys Cruise - ParoDeeJay
Here's some storm footage recorded aboard the Carnival Pride on November 17, 2019 during our delayed return to Baltimore. A nor'easter off the North Carolina coast had produced 40-60 mph winds and 20 foot waves, so we had to reduce speed to 12 knots and head straight through the storm to reach the Chesapeake Bay. We received messages from Travelling With Bruce, AccuWeather, and the Weather Channel, asking if we could provide video for news stories, and here's a quick compilation of what we recorded that day. We'll be kicking off our daily cruise vlogs from that 14-day Journeys cruise on December 2, 2019... so be on the lookout for those videos as well!

Join us as we hop on a bus for about an hour ride out to the caves, hike through the rainforest for about half an hour (but you don't have to carry a tube!), hop on a tube for the most scenic lazy river ever, and even get a free booty massage or three!! :P

Carnival Cruise Line unveiled a brand new sea day brunch menu called "American Brunch" in 2018/2019 that has slowly been making its way onto more and more ships across the Carnival fleet... here's a peek at the seaday brunch menu, with photos of just about everything on it. There's a lot of great new stuff like the burgers, but gone are things like the tomato soup, mac & cheese, and some other favorites. We've got mail... it's time for another exciting episode of Mail Monday! In this episode, we have some sweet foot swag from Jim & Laurie, some animal facts from David & Aaron, and some pahhhhh from Ricky & Laura!! :D
Chicken Stroganoff Stew makes 8 servings (about 2 cups each) Ingredients: chicken broth, 4 cups dried minced onion, 1 Tbsp paprika, 1 Tbsp garlic powder, 2 tsp worcestershire sauce, 1 Tbsp pearled farro, 1 cup chicken breast, about 1.5 lb mushrooms, 2 15oz cans light sour cream, 1 cup salt to taste
Directions:
[1] In a pot over high heat, add broth, onion, paprika, garlic powder, and worcestershire sauce, and let come to a boil. Add farro, reduce heat to medium-high, and cook for 20-25 minutes. [2] Grill chicken, cut into bite-sized pieces. [3] Add chicken to the pot, along with mushrooms and sour cream. Stir to combine, simmer on medium for 10-15 minutes. [4] All done!
